About Us
Hey there, it's Molly! I'm totally obsessed with crafting - scrapbooking and card making are my faves, but I also enjoy sewing and making crafts with my Cricut! I've been scrapbooking since way back when 12x12 paper wasn't even a thing. I even worked at one of the first scrapbooking stores in my state. Alongside my awesome online store, StarryNightCreations.com, I've got a sweet little corner of the internet called MollyQCreates.com. This is where I share all sorts of inspiration and technique tutorials. Oh, and get this, I've organized countless scrap events and created more than 100 make and takes. Trust me, I've got some tricks up my sleeve that I can't wait to share with you! Let's get crafty together. MollyQ
Why Starry Night Creations
Hey there! So, everyone always asks me about Van Gough's Starry Night and if that's why I named my company Starry Night Creations. Well, I appreciate the painting, but the name is actually inspired by my late-night crafting sessions. You see, I've always been a night owl, and that's when my creative juices really start flowing. There's just something magical about crafting under a starry sky, right?
I'm a nature lover too, especially sunsets and stargazing. You gotta visit northern Minnesota someday - the stars there are absolutely breathtaking. Seeing the Northern Lights is on my bucket list, by the way. When I first started my craft business ages ago, I knew I wanted a name that reflected my inspiration - the starry night. And, of course, I wanted to highlight my love for creating at night. Hence, Starry Night Creations was born.
Although I began with scrapbooking, my interests have expanded. Now I'm all about card-making, Cricut crafts, and paper projects. With my revamped website, I decided to go back to where it all began and embrace the name Starry Night Creations. It feels like coming home.
I've got a simple yet embellished style. Photos are the stars of the show, but I love adding papers and embellishments to enhance the story. You'll find me rocking those 2-page layouts most of the time, but I'm known to whip up some epic 6-page spreads too.
Scrapbooking isn't my only passion. I'm all in for cardmaking, paper crafting, and anything that involves my beloved Cricut. Let's take this journey together, exploring all the wonders of paper and Cricut crafting. I'll share useful ideas, tips, tricks, and techniques that you can incorporate into your own scrapbooking and crafting adventures.
So, my friend, what inspires you? Let's enjoy the journey and keep creating amazing things!
