Refund policy

Our goal is to make your shopping and crafting experience enjoyable and worry free. If you're not satisfied with your order, we'll be happy to refund it within 45 days of receipt. Keep reading for our full return policy.

We have a 45-day return policy, which means you have 45 days from the date your order arrives at the shipping destination to request a refund. Buyer pays return shipping for all returned items. 

Eligible Return Items: To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. If you received the item damaged, please refer to the damages and issues section below.

Exceptions/Non-Returnable Items: The following items are not returnable:

  • Single sheet papers and cardstock
  • Items that are not packaged or shrink wrapped
  • Last chance/clearance items are final sale only.
  • Special order items
  • Shipping costs on the original order will not be refunded.
  • Digital items including classes
  • Gift cards


To Start a Return: If you're not happy with your order, please start by emailing us at molly@starrynightcreations.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Starry Night Creations, PO Box 884, Prior Lake, MN 55372. Buyer pays all shipping costs associated with the return. The shipping cost on the original order will not be refunded.

If we are not notified prior to you returning your items, we may not issue a refund and we will not ship the items back to you unless you pay for the shipping and handling.


If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return authorization form, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues: Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please email us at molly@starrynightcreations.com.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 5 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
