Heroween Day 1 - Trick or Treating Ghost

Start HEROween 2026 with an adorable trick-or-treating ghost, cat and bat ready for a spooky night out!

For the background, start with light purple cardstock and blend a deeper purple around the edges for a glowing nighttime look. Randomly stamp the stars from the HEROween Bonus Stamp Set around the background, then add your Halloween sentiment.

For the green panel, I added some green around the edges to give it more depth.

Layer the purple panel onto green panel and then the black cardstock, using foam tape between the layers for extra dimension and a little more pop.

The purple ink-blended background was inspired by a card from Channin at Hero Arts—and it’s the perfect backdrop for these sweet Day 1 characters.
